Epsom Picturehouse is a brand new 6 screen cinema & restaurant, opening soon in the heart of Epsom town Centre. We're looking for passionate and competent people to join us in opening this fantastic new location.

Head Chef/ Restaurant Manager
Responsible for:
To assist the Head Chef in the day to day management of the kitchen and to cook and present food to excellent standards.
MAIN DUTIES
* Preparing and cooking food to the consistently high standards of preparation and presentation set by the Head Chef.
* Deputising for the Head Chef in the Head Chef's absence and leading the team on shifts when the Restaurant Manager is not present.
* Liaising with bar staff and the duty manager to communicate delivery times, items out of stock and other information necessary to present a professional service to customers.
* Assisting the Head Chef with devising and introducing menus and daily specials suitable for the operation.
* Assisting the Head Chef with stock management (including ordering, stock rotating and stock taking) so that adequate levels of stock are held and there is no wastage.
* Following all Food Hygiene, Kitchen Cleaning and other health and safety responsibilities at all times.
* Assisting the Head Chef with training and managing the kitchen team.
* Undertaking such administration as requested for the effective running of the kitchen
* Undertaking any other duties which may be reasonably requested of you by the Company for the effective functioning of the kitchen or cinema and to maximise its business.
