Supervisor - Cinema

 

40 hrs per week £11.33 per hour 

 

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Supervisor who can bring a passion for excellent customer service to this exciting venue. As a Supervisor, you will be out there on the floor of the cinema living our value of ‘Nothing is too much trouble’ and supporting the Customer Service Assistants in delivering exceptional service. In addition to this you will be supporting the cinema Duty Managers is the smooth daily operation of the cinema.

 

Chester Picturehouse is an exciting new 6 screen Cinema venue, opening this Autumn in the brand new Northgate development  right in the heart of the city centre. We are looking for 2 enthusiastic Full time Supervisors to join the team.

 

Our film programme is a broad and curated range of quality mainstream, indie, family, foreign language and documentary films. We champion classic or contemporary independent thinking films, providing a quality cinema experience to our diverse and inclusive audience.

 

We will also show live HD broadcasts of productions from world-class arts venues, such as the New York Metropolitan Opera and the Royal Opera House, theatre productions such as the Royal Shakespeare Company Live from Stratford-upon-Avon and National Theatre Live, art exhibitions and filmmaker Q&As.

 

Chester Picturehouse will  feature a fantastic & varied food & beverage offer, and the very highest standards of customer service and presentation.

 

Please note there is a requirement to work 40 hours per week over any of the seven days with regular work in the evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Cash Handling (Including Reconciliation)

  • Dealing Face to Face with Large Groups of People
  • Addressing and Resolving Complaints
