About Emily

​What is your current role and tell us about your career to date with Cineworld?

Currently I am a Cinema Manager at Cineworld Edinburgh. I first started as a Team member at Cineworld Falkirk back in 2017. This started as a part time job whilst I was at college and once, I finished my studies. I decided to further my career within Cineworld. I became a Team Leader at the end of 2019 and developed myself and my skills to then progress to manager position in 2021.

What do you enjoy the most about for working for Cineworld?

I enjoy working at Cineworld as I am always able to learn and develop my career. Everyday has endless opportunities to learn something new. No two days are the same with new releases each week. I enjoy working as a team to ensure all of our customers have the best experience at the best place to watch a movie. The benefits you get working here are endless and I’m able to watch all new upcoming releases.

Why would you encourage people to choose a career with Cineworld?

I would encourage people to choose a career at Cineworld as throughout my time at Cineworld I have always experienced the drive and willingness to share development with your colleagues at all levels. Working at Cineworld has made me the manager I am today and I am thankful for the opportunities that I have been given to help develop myself professionally and personally. The positive atmosphere makes it an enjoyable place to work. I would encourage anyone to work here as I have made lots of friends here and it makes me enjoy coming in to work to spend time together.
