What is your current role and tell us about your career to date with Cineworld?
As a Regional Manager and I’m responsible for 15 cinemas across the Midlands, North West, North Wales and Jersey ensuring that each is the best place to watch a movie for our customers within each community through a highly engaged team at each location. Within my role I'm responsible for driving and delivering the KPI's for the business of each cinema by working with my teams along with both internal and external key stakeholders by ensuring the customer experience is one that enables the people within the communities we are in have a truly immersive cinema experience. I’m passionate in nurturing talent within our business, supporting individuals development to reach their potential and aspirations. I have held a number of roles Cineworld, over the past 21 years, include managing our Starbucks estate for the business, 8 years as a HRBP and various operational roles in cinemas from Manager to General Manager. 30 years’ experience in the cinema industry and still love it.
What do you enjoy the most about for working for Cineworld?
Working with great people who share the passion for our mission of being the best place to watch a movie, as cinema is a fun and exciting industry with an ever changing product and audience profile. Cineworld continue to invest in new ways in which our customers can enjoy their chosen movie in a range of different formats from 4DX, Screen X, Superscreen and IMAX. Within my role I have the autonomy to deliver the strategy for the business, work with great people both within my region or across the wider business to support our people achieving their own goals. Every day is different for me and that’s what drives my own passion and commitment for both my role, our business and the industry.
