Cineworld York are looking to recruit a Maintenance Person to join their team. The successful candidate will report to the Leadership Team.
The cinema has 13 screens, including IMAX, Screen X, recliner’s and a mixture of 2D & 3D auditoriums. The cinema also hosts a concessions counter which includes a Baskin Robbins counter and a large seating area which is licenced for alcohol.
As a Maintenance person you will be expected to aid in the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of the cinema, with tasks including, but not limited to: recliner seat preventative maintenance and repair, cinema seat repairs, painting, minor building repairs, changing light bulbs, routine building health and safety checks along with preventative maintenance tasks, minor plumbing, hanging frames and assisting the Audio Visual team where necessary.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a wide range of skills coupled with good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements along with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage their time in an effective manner.
This is a Part Time role and the successful candidate will be working approximately 12 to 20 hours per week over 3 to 5 early mornings at an hourly pay rate of £13.09 per hour.
Typical working hours would normally be 7am until 11.15am or 7:45am until 12 noon over 3, 4 or 5 days a week, we are flexible on the days/hours worked and happy to discuss further at interview stage.
