What is the job?
Are you someone that loves being deep in technology and thrives on the challenge of figuring out how things work? A technical problem solver, that would relish the opportunity to get their hands on the technology that drives cinema operations!
This is the person we are looking for, to be the new Technical NOC Operator in our Milton Keynes-based technical support office, reporting to the Regional Technical Director. You will help deliver a high standard of technical support to our cinemas and ensure the highest quality of content presentation is maintained within all our locations.
Note: you will be required to work some evenings and weekends on occasion.
What will you be doing?
You will be the first point of contact for any inbound technical support issues for all our cinemas across the UK and Ireland. This will require you to collaborate with colleagues to trouble shoot via email and phone calls and escalate issues when necessary to our field engineers, management or 3rd party providers.
You will be working with a variety of hardware and software, ranging from general IT systems to Cinema specific technology. Examples of these are NEC & Barco DCI projectors, Screenwriter, Dolby/Doremi servers, RealD, LAN/WAN connectivity and various remote access tools.
You will need to keep on top of documentation across all technical issues that you handle and for any software used internally to ensure there is always full visibility.
You will ensure that all actions taken comply with legal requirements, licencing agreements, financial approvals, security policies and any other internal policies as required.
About you
You don’t need lots of experience in a NOC role previously, but we do require you to be proactive, ready to learn and enthusiastic about solving problems.
You need to be comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels and able to deliver solutions in pressured situations.
You will need to be someone who prides themselves on being organised and extremely diligent when it comes to documenting work.
You will be a great fit, if our values resonate with you: We Create, We Perform, We Inspire. Read more about them here - About us
