​What is your current role and tell us about your career to date with Cineworld?

As a Team Leader, I work to support the team to deliver a great customer experience, and run the daily operations of the cinema from a key-holding position. I joined Cineworld as a Team Member, it being my first job out of high school. I pursued training opportunities, which allowed me to gain the skills necessary to be successful in the Team Leader role, and even put myself onto the path for a Management position

What do you enjoy about working for Cineworld?

Each day is different, and brings something new to the role. My position as Team Leader allows me to coach and mentor Team Members, something I find very fulfilling, helping them to achieve their best in the role, while getting them ready for new and exciting positions within the company. I’ve gained not only incredible experience, indispensable skills and knowledge from the role, but have gained friends that will last me a lifetime. (Your Cineworld colleagues are not ones you’ll forget any time soon!)

Why would you encourage people to choose a career with Cineworld?

Not only do you get to learn about some of the behind the scenes of the film industry, you get to be part of it! Learning Audio Visual skills, hosting film premieres and bringing anticipated releases to excited audiences, you get to feel a bit of movie magic each day. The skills you gain along the way are invaluable, with communication, people management and problem solving being utmost. With training readily available, it’s possible at every level to gain additional skills and to develop yourself and your career, with progression always encouraged by the Management Team
