Working closely with Regional Manager’s, and Cinema leadership teams, to ensure that effective and proactive people management practices are delivered effectively and consistently.

Organisational Development
* Establish a sound understanding of business plans - challenges and influences the outcomes
* With the Regional Manager, develop people plans for each region to proactively develop the business from a people perspective and improve engagement levels
* Use People statistics to inform decision making regarding all People activities and influence these statistics
* Provide support in the collation of People statistics where appropriate
* Present all People & Culture update information at relevant meetings
Employee Engagement
* Drive improvements in Employee Engagement across your Region(s)
* Support the creation and delivery of Regional and Cinema action plans
* Provide best practice advice and support in under-performing cinemas
Recruitment
* Coordinate leadership succession activity across the region
* Coach Line Managers & decision makers to ensure that they are able to make clear and effective recruitment decisions
* Where the need dictates, facilitate recruitment events and/or assessment centres
* Ensure that all paperwork relating to recruitment activity meets best practice standards and is filed accurately
Performance Management and Training
* Overseeing the Performance Excellence process to ensure that consistency is achieved across the region
* Administrate consistency reviews and identify any challenges to the delivery of the outcome distribution
* Working closely with Line Managers to understand team performance and support the creation of effective performance plans for managers to follow
* Ensure that General Managers are able to consistently address performance problems and reach resolutions within reasonable timescales
* Embed effective recognition practices within the region to ensure that employees are motivated and inspired to go the extra mile
* Provide relevant People process and best practice training as and when necessary
Employee Relations
* Ensure Managers are fully equipped to manage Conduct and Performance issues
* Understand themes and trends and address accordingly
* Support and attend complex and / or high risk meetings with line managers
* Obtain relevant guidance to ensure complex and or high risk cases are managed in line with business standards and employment legislation
Communications
* Manage the launch and ongoing communications of key People & Culture initiatives and key messages within areas of responsibility
* Support line managers to deliver communication in an effective way, ensuring that the correct company message is delivered to all levels
General
* Take responsibility for any relevant People & Culture projects within the employee lifecycle and work closely with the team to ensure that an effective strategy is in place to meet business needs – including all annual/regular activities such as pay review, bonus awards & so on
* Support Restructures and Business Change
* Work closely with the other People & Culture teams to ensure that a proactive people proposition can be achieved across all areas of the employee lifecycle
* Liaise and establish relationships with other Cinema Support Office departments to effectively support the region
* Ensure that all areas of accountability fit with the employer brand proposition
* Projects – supporting or managing all People & Culture projects as required/assigned
* Drive continued focus on the effective use of PeopleHub
* Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
